We have been standing behind efforts and initiatives for a greener Europe for years now. Namely, we have been involved in projects such as “ISPower” (Isolated Power Systems). This project was concerned with using renewable energy forms, including natural resources and biodiversity, for distribution across power grids. Therefore, the project involved relying on new technologies and regulatory schemes. We are proud to say that our involvement has led to the connection of remote locations to the energy grid via renewable energy. Furthermore, ISPower wanted to create a group of EU experts, in the form of a consortium, so as to share and impart knowledge. Our role within the project was as leaders of the Work Package meetings, whereby we oversaw the development of a dissemination plan and adequate IT structure, as well as presented the overall results to the European Parliament.
